A Slough man who brought home £95k after winning BBC One's The Traitors has revealed his plans for the future.

Harry Clark, 23, a British Army engineer from Slough, won The Traitors, with the show's finale airing on Friday, January 26.

It followed four weeks of episodes where Harry was seen deceiving fellow contestants who were tasked with finding the Traitors among them.

Since winning the show Harry has made dozens of radio and TV appearances.

In an exclusive interview with this newspaper, he told of his family's pride in hearing he had won.

Having rang his mum and dad in the early hours of the morning from the set in September 2023, Harry said his dad popped a bottle of champagne and woke up his mum.

"To see that and know he is proud of me, and my mum, is all I have ever wanted and more because that is all I aim to do really."

A week on from winning, Harry told the British Forces Broadcasting Service of his departure from the military.

He said: "The military made me the man I am today and it's been amazing, obviously in helping me with winning the game really.

"But I was already looking to start the next chapter of my life before the TV show. I had done six years in the military."

Harry told of how he had been sent away on duty and how his "hopeless romantic" nature meant this became difficult once he met his girlfriend.

He added: "I never wanted a full career in the army because I wanted to move back home.

"Being away from Monday to Friday and then if I get deployed it's months - I miss birthdays and memories with my partner. That just wasn't for me."

When the BBC contacted Harry he had "already sort of signed off" but added that they were "amazing" during this period.

"They're going to try and release me early. I have so many crazy meetings with management and who knows what's next. For me personally, they have been such a key help."
