The latest results from Reading and Slough Magistrates’ Courts

ANDRZEJ GESICKI, 44, of Rochford Gardens, Slough, convicted of driving while disqualified on the A4 Wellington Street in Slough on October 11, 2023. Given a community order to comply with 100 hours of unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs and £114 victim surcharge. Disqualified from driving for 14 months.

GARY WALKER, of Upton Road, Slough, convicted of assault by beating of an emergency worker - namely a detention officer - in Maidenhead on February 13, 2024. Also convicted of failing to surrender to police or court bail on February 29, 2024. Handed a community order to comply with 60 hours unpaid work and must pay £40 compensation. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs.

DIXIT CHOUDHARY, 24, of Sandringham Court, Slough, of drug-driving on the A4 Bath Road, in Slough, on August 13, 2023. Found to have cannabis in their system. Fined £138. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs and £65 victim surcharge. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

LANCE BARLOW, 29, of Callington Road, Reading, convicted of failing to provide a specimen for analysis in Reading on May 28, 2023 as a vehicle driver. Also convicted of driving a vehicle without the correct insurance or licence in Northumberland Avenue in Reading on May 28, 2023, and convicted of failing to stop a mechanical vehicle when asked by a police constable on the same date and location in Reading. Sentenced to 10 weeks in prison suspended for 12 months due to the severity of offences and committed while subject to a community order. Disqualified from driving for two years.

KAREN MACDONALD, 54, of Denmark Avenue, Woodley, convicted of drink-driving in Loddon Bridge Road, Reading, on January 20, 2024. Found to have 115mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Also convicted of driving while disqualified and for using a vehicle without the correct insurance in place on the same date and location. Handed a community order to comply with alcohol treatment and must pay £85 court costs and £114 victim surcharge. Disqualified from driving for 50 months, WLADYSLAW CZYZEWSKI, 68, of Summerlea in Slough, convicted of driving while disqualified on the Bath Road, Calcot, on December 27, 2023. Given a community order to comply with alcohol abstinence plus a electronic tag curfew in place. Must undertake 80 hours of unpaid work. Disqualified from driving for eight months.

ALEXANDER ROLSTON, of no fixed abode, convicted of stealing beer from Sainsbury’s in Maidenhead on January 23, 2024, and stole beer worth £9 from Sainsbury’s in Maidenhead on February 5, 2024. Also convicted of failing to surrender to police or court bail on February 22, 2024. Fined £120. Also ordered to pay £9 compensation, £85 court costs and £48 victim surcharge.

DANIEL WRIGHT, 29, of Ermin Street, Lambourn, convicted of drink-driving in Baydon Road, Lambourn, on February 15. Found to have 70mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Fined £500. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs and £200 victim surcharge. Disqualified from driving for 18 months.
