The search continues for thieves behind the theft of a valuable trailer, as another was reported missing nearby then subsequently found abandoned.

Vik Singh recently posted a number of pictures to social media reporting that his trailer was stolen on Thursday May 2.

The post included photographs of the trailer and well as CCTV footage which appears to show two men in a white van attach the trailer to their vehicle and leave.

Mr Singh is offering a cash reward for anyone who knows the whereabouts of the trailer as it is vital for his work.

After posting the plea online to find Mr Singh's trailer, another person reported their trailer had been stolen from Gerrards Cross in a similar stunt.

"Today (Thursday May 8) I came across their trailer that had been stolen and returned it back to the owner," Mr Singh said.

"I had spoke to them by chance half an hour before. I had been notified there was a trailer dumped at some garages by a person who lived in the flats. Unfortunately I still haven't heard anything about my trailer."

Reports of a similar white van, as pictured in Mr Singh's CCTV, say it has been spotted in the Denham area yesterday (Thursday, May 8) heading towards Maple Cross/Rickmansworth.

Speaking to The Observer, Mr Singh said that something happening like this has made him lose faith completely in the public.

"The theft has made me feel like nothing is safe in this world. You can't have anything nice people just want to take what's yours," he said.

Mr Singh's trailer was reported stolen from the Langley area, and the two men in the van pictured on CCTV allegedly took off towards Colnbrook.

The trailer is a Brian James T6 5.5m x 2.2m with rare LED lights fitted, blue straps with red over straps, alloys, damage to the sides, and the spare wheel has big nails in them.

"It's a big £10,000 piece of equipment that has been stolen," Mr Singh said. "It has effected us majorly as we have contracts with companies who require us to use the trailer to move the bigger vehicles."

Mr Singh is part of a recovery company based in slough called VS Recovery Services Ltd.

Both Mr Singh and his colleagues are pleading with the public to keep an eye out for any trailers that may look similar.
