PATIENTS are facing reduced healthcare services as doctors take industrial action in a row over pensions.
Many surgeries across Slough and South Bucks are operating as normal, while some are only offering urgent care as members of the British Medical Association (BMA) are on strike.
Langley Health Centre in Common Road is open as usual this morning, while a member of staff at Iver Medical Centre, Trewarden Avenue, said: "The surgery will only be treating patients needing urgent care."
Datchet Health Centre in Green Lane has two of its five practising doctors participating in the industrial action, and the centre said any urgent problems will be dealt with by its other doctors.
Doctors at South Meadow Surgery, in Church Close, Eton, are taking full part in the action and nurses are also unavailable for appointments.
