A LORRY driver has died following a motorway collision.

Police were called at 6.21am today following reports of a collision on the M25 clockwise, between junctions 15 and 16, close to Palmers Moor Lane overbridge near Iver.

A lorry is believed to have left the road and collided with an overbridge. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Some lane closures were put in place to allow access to emergency services and collision investigators.

Two lanes were closed while the lorry was recovered, but were expected to reopen shortly.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has any other information should call the Roads Policing Department at Amersham on 101, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org.
