A CONVICT on the run from jail was snared by eagle-eyed police officers earlier today.
A police patrol unit saw the 39-year-old man, who is from Slough, in the passenger seat of a vehicle in Farnham Road.
Officers recognised the man, who was wanted on recall for breaching his bail conditions back in May, and ordered the vehicle to pull into a nearby garage.
The man was then arrested.
A police spokesman said: "At 11.26am officers on patrol saw a man, a 39-year-old form Slough previously wanted on recall to prison for breaching conditions. They spotted him in a vehicle being driven by someone else.
"They pulled it over at the garage.
"The man was wanted for recall for breaching conditions form May 31."
