A MAN is in custody after a serious assault in Slough in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The 34-year-old was arrested shortly after the incident outside Slough Central Library on the High Street at 2.30am.

A man in his early thirties is in hospital in a critical condition with serious head injuries after being attacked by two men.

The High Street is currently cordoned off from the library through to the estate agents, causing major disruption to people.

The two attackers are described as being of similar height at 5ft 7ins, black with short black hair.
