FOUR people have been arrested in connection with a series of devices sent to army recruitment offices.
Two men, aged 35 and 46, and two women, aged 21 and 44, were arrested this morning in Londonderry, Northern Ireland in relation to the incidents in Northern Ireland and South East England earlier in the year.
One of the devices was found in the Queensmere Shopping Centre in Slough in February, which forced the evacuation and closure of the shopping centre.
It is understood the arrests are in relation to this incident and seven others which took place in Reading, Kent, Aldershot, Oxford, Brighton and Canterbury in February, and Northern Ireland in October last year.
The four people were arrested and taken to the Serious Crime Suite at Antrim police station for interview.
The investigation is being led by detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) Serious Crime Branch who have been working in close liaison with officers from the South East Counter Terrorism Unit in England.
