CROSSRAIL works are due to start next week.
Delays are expected in Stoke Poges Lane in preparation for the removal of Horlicks Bridge.
Lane restrictions and temporary traffic lights will be in place on the north side of the bridge, at the junction of Simpsons Way, from Monday (22).
It is to allow BT and Scottish and Southern Energy to work on cables.
Warning signs will be put up and temporary diversion may be necessary. The council says it is working closely with Crossrail to minimise disruption.
Horlicks Bridge is due to be removed at the end of November 2014, with a replacement due to be installed in April 2015.
