TWO Slough homes were raided by counter terrorism police on Saturday.
It was part of an operation by North West Counter Terrorism Unit officers where seven men were arrested at the Port of Holyhead in North Wales.
They were questioned on suspicion of being concerned in the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism. As part of their inquiries, officers searched two homes in Slough on Saturday, including an address in Sussex Place.
However the seven were later released without charge.
A police spokesman said: “The North West Counter Terrorism Unit would like to stress that there was no intelligence or information suggesting the port itself was under threat or risk, nor is there any evidence suggesting any other communities are at risk.”
