A BUS driver donated his wages to help raise more than £1,500 for charity.
Suhail Ahmed Misar, from Langley, donated the £1,550 he earned from driving a staff bus service for First Group in Slough to Macmillan Cancer Support based at Wexham Park Hospital.
Mr Misar, who has been driving buses for four years, said: “My sister-in-law has cancer so I said that whatever money I got for two-and-a-half months work I will donate to charity.” The 56-year-old contributed his wages from June to August, having picked up colleagues between 2.30-5.30am each day for work.
The money was handed over to Macmillan by Mr Misar, his colleagues and the Mayor of Slough Cllr Shafiq Chaudhry on Friday, September 19.
