A TEENAGER was punched in the face after being confronted in Slough yesterday evening.
The 15-year-old victim was cycling along Howard Avenue from Baylis Parade at around 6.30pm when he saw two Asian men walk from Howard Avenue into Beechwood Road.
The teenager also turned into Beechwood Road and, when he passed the two men, they shouted at him. He stopped his bike and the two men asked him some questions before he was punched in the face.
The victim fled and cycled back towards Baylis Parade and eventually, on Howard Avenue, he was stopped by a man who asked if he was okay.
The victim received a deep cut to the side of his nose and was treated at Wexham Park Hospital in Wexham, Slough. He is currently still in hospital.
The first offender is 15-16 years old, of large build, 5ft 10ins, clean shaved, with a round face. He spoke in both English and an Indian language, wore a dark hoodie and dark trousers. He had a dark-coloured mountain bike.
There is no description of the second offender.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have information about the incident and, in particular, to the man who spoke to the victim in Howard Avenue.
Anyone with information should call investigating officer Pauline Carrie, of Slough Local CID, on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
