A FIRE in an extractor fan at a KFC restaurant prompted a call out for Slough’s firefighters today.
Crews were called to the restaurant at the junction of Bath Road and Elmshott Lane at around 9.30am after smoke was seen coming from the flue of the building.
Two firefighters in breathing apparatus used a CO2 extinguisher to put out the small fire which caused minor damage to the extractor fan. No one was hurt.
Firefighters were on scene for around 30 minutes.
