IT HAS been an incredible start to the year for both RK Leisure and its anglers as Wraysbury North Lake has fished from the off, due in no small part to the lack of wintery conditions and very mild spring.

The first original fish of the season weighed in at a hefty 46lb 12oz. Anglers have also seen one or two of the rarer carp the venue has to offer both in and out of the water, and the potential at the lake over the next few years is frightening.

Combined with the new facilities that have been installed, a dedicated feeding programme and additional ideas that are in the pipeline, it is easy to see why the North Lake can establish itself at the pinnacle of modern day-ticket fishing.

This year, RK Leisure has put a lot of hard work into making the day-ticket experience on the Wraysbury One North and South lakes as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Much work has been done during the close season on additional security measures and new car parking facilities.

Anglers are advised to book early to avoid disappointment. To make a reservation, please call Maria on +44 (0)207 534 0540.

The RK Leisure Bait and Tackle Shop in Wraysbury village will be stocking VASS waders from April 2016.

The yellow strapped 700E model is used by amateurs and professionals alike. It offers box stitch reinforcement with elasticated braceloop, a quick release buckle, and internal pocket and draw cord around the chest for extra comfort.

There is a 10 per-cent discount on all shop items for all RK Leisure members.

n RK Leisure has announced that in March 2016 it officially became the home of Carp Team England, the current World champions.
