RAMGHARIA Slough made it a perfect 10 MBB&O Division Eight East wins from 10 with a 4-0 cruise against Eastcote 6ths.

The home side were dealt an early blow when they lost Usmaan Khan to a toe injury in the fifth minute, but Ramgharia had the better of the early exchanges with most of the play being conducted in the visitors’ half.

The table-toppers eventually made the breakthrough midway through the first half when a short corner was dispatched with great accuracy by Kuljit Bhachu.

With their noses in front, the hosts continued to press their opponents and the classy Jassi Kooner made it 2-0 with an accurate finish.

Ramgharia threatened early in the second period when excellent wing play from Rocky Thakore and Veer Patel set up youngster Jagveer Singh, but he was thwarted by the on-rushing Eastcote keeper.

They did move further ahead when Karan Kooner netted, with his side then twice striking the post. The home side’s defence was barely tested and Ramgarhia’s dominance – accompanied with a tiring Eastcote – was rewarded late in the second half when Kooner scored from a penalty flick.

Ramgharia return to action at Wootton Wanderers 2nds on January 10.
