HARJINDER Dhardwar and Dennis Halford have battled it out over two days in the Seniors Championship at Iver Golf Club.
There is no handicap allowance in the championship and after day one they were locked together with a gross score of 93.
Day two was just as close as Dhardwar again shot 93, but this time Halford produced that bit extra and came in with a score of 91 to become the 2017 champion.
After their midweek efforts the pair locked horns again at the weekend in the October Stableford and this time Dhardwar came out on top with 37 points.
The Autumn Pairs competition was won by Richard Frewin and John Campbell with 43 points.
