SLOUGH extended their unbeaten run in Home Counties Division One to nine weeks after a draw with Henley on Saturday.

Batting first at Upton Court Road, Slough made 255 all out from 62.3 overs.

For the second game in a row, Shahid Yousaf top-scored with 81, while stand-in captain Shaan Khan (52) and Lloyd Paternott (50) also made half-centuries.

Pakistan-born and Wiltshire player Tahir Afridi led the Henley bowling attack with his figures of 3-58.

Slough restricted their opponents to 191-7 from 57 overs in response.

The top three Henley batsmen were all bowled out for zero, before Euan Woods added 81 and Bjorn Mordt 30* to save the game.

Nawaz Raja was the pick of the bowlers with 3-37, with Yousaf (2-22), Ali Akbar Raja (2-27) and Khan (2-48) also taking wickets.

The winning draw keeps Slough in fifth position in the table ahead of the trip across Berkshire to Reading this Saturday.

Burnham put distance between themselves and the relegation places with a three-wicket win against Reading.

Adnan Malik acted as chief-destroyer for Burnham as his 5-22 helped bowl out the visiting side for 163 in 48.3 overs.

Captain Aftab Khan took 3-45 while Firaz Amjad (36) and Martin Andersson (34) were the leading batsmen for Reading.

In reply, Burnham closed on 165-7 after 45.3 overs for the win with Omer Siddique coming close to a half-century on 47. Karan Kumar added a useful 30.

Khalid Malik took 3-43 for Reading, and he was supported by Andersson (2-42) and Jack Beavan (2-53).

Burnham remain eighth in the table and travel to defending champions High Wycombe this Saturday.

Datchet suffered back-to-back defeats in Division Two following a 10-run loss away at Amersham.

Captain Andrew Viney made 58 and Bruce Friderichs 41 as Amersham were bowled out for 175 in 50.4 overs.

Thomas Lambert (3-27) and Oliver Smithson (3-40) were the pick of the Datchet bowlers.

In response, Datchet managed 165 all out from 56.3 overs after Alexander Lines took an incredible 9-54. Steven Naylor put up the most resistance with his 60.
