CHARLIE Samuel scored a 91st-minute winner – his fourth goal of the game – as Windsor FC snatched a thrilling 4-3 win in an epic Combined Counties League Premier Division game against Chessington & Hook on Saturday, writes Richard Ashton.

Ade Okutuki gave the visitors the lead in the second minute of an extraordinary contest at Stag Meadow, only for Samuel to begin his tour de force by equalising nine minutes later.

The action showed no sign of slowing down when Oketuki put Chessington back in front just after the quarter of an hour mark, but they only held their advantage for four minutes before Samuel levelled matters again.

The striker completed his hat-trick shortly before half time, giving the hosts a 3-2 lead.

They appeared to be on course for victory during a slightly fractious second half, but Chessington scored an equaliser on 84 minutes, Kyle Green hitting the target.

However, Samuel was not to be denied on his day of glory and he popped up with the injury-time winner.

Windsor suffered a 3-2 home defeat to AFC Hayes on Tuesday night.

Jordan Berry put the visitors in front from the penalty spot on 15 minutes, and Sam Saydee doubled the lead shortly afterwards.

Goals from Luke Brooks-Smith and Barry Dunbar drew Windsor level, before Saydee’s 68th-minute winner.

Eighth-placed Windsor visit Hartley Wintney tomorrow (3pm), before hosting Horley Town on Tuesday (7.45pm).
