THE Lynchpin and Langley Wanderers shared the spoils after an entertaining 3-3 draw in the East Berkshire Football League Premier Division on Saturday.

Table-toppers Lynchpin took a deserved lead into the break as Daniel Boateng headed home a Danny Dickson corner.

However, Langley were quicker out of the blocks in the second half and within a couple of minutes of the restart it was all square as Jerell Gumbs coolly slotting past keeper Chris Long.

The hosts then capitalised on a mistake in The Lynchpin back line when Callum Hughes converted from inside the box, though their advantage did not last long.

Boateng latched onto a long diagonal ball from Dickson, beat the offside trap, and calmly slotted past the keeper to even the scores at 2-2.

Shortly after, The Lynchpin made it 3-2 with a free-kick that Dickson drove home with his left foot, but The Wanderers were not for the taking a rescued a point from the spot late on. Latif Moore calmly finished after Sam Stanley was penalised for handball inside the box.

The two clubs will clash again in the Slough Town Senior Cup final at The Gore, Burnham on Friday (10.30am ko).
