The latest results of the GP Patient Survey 2021 were published on Thursday, July 8, after 9,424 questionnaires were sent out.

Slough headteacher receives Headteacher of the Year award

A total of 3,483 were returned completed, demonstrating a response rate of 37 per cent.

A Slough headteacher has been rewarded for her work after being awarded the Headteacher of the Year award.

Woman jailed after stealing £100,000+ from vulnerable Slough man

A woman was jailed after stealing more than £100,000 from a vulnerable man in Slough, it was said in court.

Helen Keogh, aged 40 of Grange Avenue, Coventry, pleaded guilty to five counts of theft at Reading Crown Court on July 8.

Keogh first met the victim in early 2014 when she was 34 and he was aged in his sixties.

Keogh realised the victim was both vulnerable and desperate for companionship, Thames Valley Police have said.

Man fined for causing 'nuisance' and 'disturbance' at school

A Slough man has been fined for causing nuisance at a local school.

Anthony Mendy, of Woodford Way, was convicted of causing a disturbance on the premises of Beechwood School on Bideford Spur.

The offence took place on February 28, 2021.

Plans to convert toy company HQ into almost 30 new flats

Major plans have been submitted to convert the UK headquarters of a well-known toy company into new residential properties.

Developers have submitted a planning application that would see the vacant offices at Mattel House on Vanwall Road being converted into a total of 28 new flats.

The site is located in the southwest of Maidenhead, approximately 1.4 km south of St Mark’s Hospital and 1.8 km northeast of White Waltham airfield.
