A developer in Slough is in trouble after they built flats without permission at a busy corner of the town.
The developer went ahead and built the flats contained within one building at the corner of Stoke Road and St Pauls Avenue, but Slough Borough Council has rejected the project.
That is one of the projects in the area that has been decided on recently.
Elsewhere, progress is being made on a controversial project to replace offices in a village with homes.

Developer in trouble over flats built without permission (Slough app P/16250/006)
The developer Jasmine Developments SE Ltd is in trouble with Slough Borough Council as its completed project to build three flats has been refused.
The building containing three two-bedroom flats has already been built at the corner of Stoke Road and St Pauls Avenue.
Jasmine Developments submitted a retrospective planning application to confirm the project, which replaces a commercial building that’s been defunct since 2008.
However, the project was refused by planning officer Shivesh Seedhar, who judged the flats to be a “harmful addition to the street scene” and an “overdevelopment” of the site.
Plan to add homes at guest house site approved (Slough app P/11077/003)
A scheme to build new homes at a guest house site in Colnbrook High Street has been approved.
The project involves demolishing an outbuilding at the Cedars Guest House and replacing it with two three-bedroom semi-detached homes contained within one new building.
The homes will have almost an identical layout, with living facilities on the ground floor, two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs, and a double bedroom with an ensuite shower toilet at roof level.
The Cedars Guest House has been vacant since the start of the year.
Progress for controversial homes project in village (RBWM app 24/00429/REM)
Progress is being made on a controversial project to replace the Station Court offices in Cookham with eight homes.
Station Court in High Road is an L-shaped building providing office space for businesses.
Although site owners Sorbon Estates had its plan to replace it with two terraces of four homes rejected by the Royal Borough in 2022, the project was allowed on appeal last August.
Sorbon Estates had its landscaping plan for the site approved by the Royal Borough on March 25.
