Quentin Blake's classic book, Ms Armitage on Wheels, has been adapted for the theatre and is set to come to Slough Curve this summer.
The 40-minute interactive show, created by Scoot Theatre and produced by Farnham Maltings, celebrates the joy of getting outdoors and active.
The tale follows the story of Mrs Armitage out on a bike ride with her trusty dog, Breakspear.
She decides her bicycle needs improvement, with a new horn, a picnic hamper and a sail.

The question is, will Mrs Armitage manage to keep her bicycle in one piece, or will her crazy contraption prove too much to handle?
A spokesperson for the venue said: "Get ready for a rocket-boosting, laugh-out-loud cycling adventure as Mrs Armitage on Wheels races into Curve Venue, Slough on Saturday 9 August at 2pm."
They suggested that it is perfect for families looking for holiday fun.
They said: "Mrs Armitage on Wheels is an energetic celebration of outdoor play, inventive thinking, and joyful imagination."
The book has also been adapted for the small screen and will be shown on CBBC on Tuesday, August 5.
It was animated as part of the iconic BBC animated series, Quentin Blake’s Box of Treasures and has been recommended by The Reading Agency's Summer Reading Challenge, rated four out of five stars on the Story Garden.
Good Reads describes the book saying: "An exuberant classic from the nation's favourite illustrator, Quentin Blake!"
Max Hutchinson, Scoot’s Artistic Director, explains: “We worked with primary school children to make sure that the show is as fun and interactive as possible.
"It’s packed with live music, physical comedy and puppetry and the story celebrates the power of young imaginations and being resilient.”

He adds: “Packed with puppetry, live music and physical comedy, the show offers a wonderfully accessible experience for children and their grown-ups.
"We’ve also added lots of opportunities for the children to interact with the puppetry and Breakspear loves the chance to meet audiences at the end of the show, and have his photo taken.”
Tickets are £12 for adults, £10 under 16s and the age guidance is for 3+ years.
The Curve Venue, which is supported using public funding by Arts Council England as a cultural community hub, is holding a number of shows and events this summer including Slough's Got Talent.
