A new play about two rising Ghanaian creatives is set to come to Slough next month.

DRUM follows a pair, thrown together by lives built far from home, grappling with success, identity, assimilation and home.

It begins as the afternoon sun hits BBC Broadcasting House in London, photographer James Barnor meets broadcaster Mike Egan for the very first time.

Presented by Our Day and Omnibus Theatre, DRUM is a new play from award-nominated writer Jacob Roberts Mensah and Sarah Amankwah. Jacob Roberts-Mensah (DEM TIMES, Our Day) is a Ghanaian – British writer and producer working across theatre and audio.
